Hi there!
My name is Maria Habeeb and I am a New York City based actor, singer, and dancer.
I grew up in Watertown, NY, spending most of my time as a competitive figure skater. I caught the theater bug in high school and never looked back! I earned a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University, and joined Actors Equity Association shortly after graduating.
I am a proud Arab American actor, supporting diversity in all aspects of the arts.
When I'm not auditioning and working as an actor, I am cultivating my culinary skills and cooking for people I love.

“And Habeeb, with a voice you can not only hear in the back row but in your soul, made 'Christmas Lullaby soar into the heavens and beyond.”
-Jay Irwin from Broadway World
“Maria Habeeb quietly asserts the wealth of experience Number 46 has in contrast with teammates that follow international news but have only been past their town’s borders to compete in soccer games. Habeeb giver her character a quiet coolness that acknowledges the teammates may be misinformed or naïve but takes it all in her stride, buoyed by the confidence that she does know something about the world.”
